Honored ContributorI've received a solution to this problem at the Nios Community Forum:
http://forum.niosforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6796 Shortly, changing the number/currency/date/time format setting in the control panel to English (US) (mine was Turkish) solved the problem.
