DE4 not getting recognized in PCI Express slot

Hi, I installed the DE4 board in the PCIe x16 slot. The board gets powered up and i was able to download DE4_Fundamenatal.sof example. After this when i try to run the PCIe_Fundamental_Demo.exe...

Hi Socrates,

Thanks for the reply. The steps performed are explained below.

1. Installed the PCIe driver provided by Terasic.

2.Installed DE4 on PC.

3.Downloaded DE4_Fundamental.sof into the DE4 board.

4. Restarted Windows

5.Launched the demo program PCIe_Fundamental_Demo.exe. When i try this i get the issue mentioned above.

The JTAG Control Dip Switch are by default in ON position

The PCI Express Control DIP Switch SW9.3 is ON by default. It corresponds to Enable x8 presence detect. I am using Windows XP for this example.
