Honored ContributorI am thinking about buying Cyclone V SoC development kit. I cannot figure out does it have general purpose I/O pins, connected to some outer connector. In reference manual HSMC cards are mentioned, now I do not know whether this board has standard I/O pins connected to some connector.
Honored ContributorHi. Did you figure out the general purpose I/O pins on the SoC kit? I'm trying to understand the same. I need to stream 2-bit input data and I can't decide which port (HSMC?) to use. An suggestions are welcome.
Honored ContributorHonored ContributorThe Cyclone V Soc kit comes with an HSMC Debug Header module, which you can use to access standard I/O pins.
The HSMC Debug Header can also be used with the SocKit, but it is not included with the kit.
