Cyclone IV CLKIN Power

Hi all,

just a small question:

I'm designing a board using the EP4CGX30 (324FBGA). There are clock input power pins located on Bank 3A and 8A called VCC_CLKIN3A / 8A. I power VCC_CLKIN3A with 2.5V. Does that mean that I have to power VCCIO3 (bank 3) with the same voltage or can I power bank 3 with 1.8V for example?

Thanks alot for your help.

Ragesh

Hi Duagon. Yes, you can power the bank 3 (VCCIO power pins) with another level.

Hi, I reuse this thread to ask about VCC_CLKIN

What represents this voltage? For example, if VCC_CLKIN Bank 3B is set to 2.5V, what is the amplitude expected for the clock signals (ex. from a osc crystal) in CLK pins of that Bank?
