CYCLONE III EP3C120F780C8N vs EP3C120F780C8NAE

With reference to this device, I am trying to determine the meaning of the suffix AE.

Can anyone assist with this request?

    Hi bigquestion1,

Apologies for the delayed response, as I was recently assigned to this task. The suffix “AE” (or "AF") in the part number indicates that it is customer specific ordering suffix, the material that builds directly for some specific customers. These are added to the device part number when a device has undergone additional qualifications that the customer requested. There are no changes to the form, fit or function from the general ordering code.

    Regards,

    Fakhrul
