Altera_ForumDo you mean the chip model? It can be accessed through JTAG. As an example you can open the Quartus programmer and click on "autodetect".

No, chip model - IDCODE, and it can be access through JTAG.
I mean - Is in the Cyclone chip exist uniqe number for every chip? Like DNA number in Xilinx chips. - Altera_Forum
AFAIK there is no documented way of accessing the device's serial number.

I don't think, that standard FPGA families have a serial number. Has it been said to exist by Altera?
