Changing to a different FPGA

I am currently using the EP3C40F780C8N FPGA in my design. I am interested in changing the FPGA to the EP3C40F780I7N which has a higher temperature rating. From all the research I have done it seems this is a pin for pin compatible chip. Can anyone advise otherwise as to other risks involved when changing between these two chips. Thanks.

    The two parts will be functionally identical. Just the i part came off a wafer with less defects or tests better or something. The c parts are just the ones that fail the quality control for the i parts. You can sometimes even get away with c parts at i temps and speed, but its not garanteed.
