Can DMA transfer data to flash device?

I'm studying NiosII and I've got a question with the DMA. The flash device can't be written with simple instructions. Is it possible to transfer data to flash device with DMA?

No, it will be the same problem. The DMA would need to be a special one that does all the specific instructions required to write to a flash memory.
