can AHDL code can be simulated in altera modelsim starter edition ?

Hi,
i am using AHDL files in my project and i want to see the behavioral simulation in modelsim.

My AHDL files are in .TDF files, and i am getting error as files not found in location, but files are present in location.

1)modelsim product guide didn't mentioned It can compile/simulate,

i want to know is AHDL is supported in modelsim ?
