basic example Avalon MM bus

Hi guys!!! I'd like to learn to use a avalon mm bus in my Cycone II using qsys, but I dont have a good tutorial where I can learn it . Could you give a good example or reference wher...

I want to implement Qsys without NIOS.

I've attached image where I made a system. I've conected a GIPO (avalon MM slave) with Avalon MM master translator.

My idea is using a Avalon MM master translator to send datas to GPIO (avalon MM slave) (I think that system is basic to start :confused:)

I've got some questions:

My system works?.... If works... How should I setup Avalon MM master translator and GPIO?

I've notice through forum and internet that Qsys must be implemet to one NIOS application (Am I right?), because I've couldn't to find a project or tutorial that showing me the opposite.
