Audio Codec DE2 vhdl

I'm working on a project wherein i need to get the mic in signal and find its FFT. I'm presently facing lot of problems in interfacing the codec:eek:. Can anyone help me with a code for this??:confused:

    The DE2 board should have a cd with it that contains a lot of example code. one specifically for the Audio codec in verilog. I would start looking there.
