ask about codec 24bit on de2

i want to use this codec for input analog signal, it that ok ???

    when i read about audio codec 24bit on de2 , they said that audio need to connnect with nios II , but i dont farmiliar with nios II, can i just use VHDL code to control the codec ???

    Yes, there are also Verilog demonstration projects shipped with DE2
