10 years ago --- Quote Start --- Thank for reply, unfortunately I did not have that option to modify the data before it gets into the transceiver. My tests though showed that, while oversampling worked fine, the minimum rate of the data had to be >270Mbps, otherwise the transceiver clock would drift with respect to the data (no lock). That is a useful trick to try in future though. --- Quote End --- I don't know what clock are you using, but you must use at least 5 times oversampling. You should read this: http://www.eetimes.com/author.asp?section_id=36&doc_id=1319733 Altera's SDI II IP does it at 11 times oversampling for SDI SD and works fine.
