I am trying to work with Arria V SoC Development Board. When trying to use the BoardTestSystem tool that is in the software kit for the board, I get "No JTAG cable is detected or selected". But, I am able to see the JTAG chain (when doing autodetect) from the Quartus Prime Programmer interface. Are there settings I need to change for the BoardTestSystem to see the Arria V SOC development board?
Honored ContributorHi, if I am not mistaken, the Board Test Tool require you to have the same Quartus version as the version from which it was built/generated. If you download the files from this link:
https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/support/boards-kits/arriav/arriavst_5astfd5kf40_soc_v15.1.0b185.zip Then I believe you have to use Quartus 15.1 in order to get the board test system program works.Honored ContributorYou also need to ensure the environment variable is set correctly.
