Arria 10 floating point DSP chainout

This question is regarding the arria 10 floating point DSP block. Does chainout of the block go to general routing?

Can I hijack the output of chainout to do some operations (e.g. shifting), before feeding it into the chainin of the next DSP block?

    I had the same question - likewise, can I drive chainin?

    Since there is no answer since 2012 I guess it is unknowable.
