altpciechdma driver

I compiled the altpciechdma driver for kernel 2.6.32.10

now when i tried to load it using insmod altpcichdma.ko

it says insmod: error inserting '/home/soni/Desktop/altpciechdma.ko': -1 Device or resource busy

what does it mean while the device is not busy ?
