altpciechdma driver in character mode (HOW)?

i want to use altpciechdma driver in character mode. but due to some comment i found that the code is not functional for that.

it also missing one header file named "mapper_user_to_sg.h"

if anybody has tried it then plase tell me the process so that i can bring the code up and running in character device interface.
