Can anyone provide me the license key or tell me where to find them? Please help.

Quartus 8.0 is unsupported for a long time - You won't find a license for this version of software. Use the newest version of Quartus.

Altera has changed the web edition's licensing method with V9.0. As far as I know, V9.0 or V9.1 licensing still works. If you want old Quartus features like the internal simulator, you should try with a V9.x version.

Well, Altera supports three major versions, so 11, 10 and 9 versions should work.

I think that version after the dot is minor one :) Afaik BadOmen somewhere mentioned, that major versions are 9, 10 and 11.

the dot releases are major releases

Software and intellectual property (IP) older than the last three versions. (For example, if the current version is 9.1, then versions 9.1, 9.0, and 8.1 are supported, but versions 8.0 and older are not supported.
