A TSE newbie need help

Hello all,

I newbie in Ethernet protocol. I plan to use TSE to realize Ethernet port, which can receive the 10 bytes PC command, and then send 4k bytes data to PC. The PHY is DP83848C.

I read some document, and I think 10/100Mb small MAC mode is enough for my use. I have several questions, as:

1. I found a small MAC example at http://www.alterawiki.com/wiki/small_tse_mac_ethernet_example, but this example can't be recognized by Qsys 13.1. Could anybody give me an example?

2. The 'simple_socket_server' example is running with UcOs, which may need a little large RAM. I don't want to add a SRAM only for TSE. I want to use 5CEBA4F17C8N, and the max OnchipRAM for TSE function is 200kB. Can Tse run well with 200kB Ram?

I am drawing the PCB schematic, and I don't have enough time to get further research. Could you please give me some suggestion? Thanks.
