which DSP devolpment kit I need?

Recently, I have got a project about code compression using Wavelet. camera in , data compression,transfers or save. I want to use the DSPbuilder/Matlab to finish the conversion of *.MDL to *.HDL. so I need a dsp development kits(now , i have a DE2 .) which one is the best choice? Give me more imformtion or advice. thanks!

    I think, if you don't need fast analog acquisition for your project, it could be done with DE2. Particulary the DE2 video subsystem should be suitable. The other thing is software. DSP kit has a MATLAB evaluation license. I guess, you should be able to obtain it from Mathworks directly, but I'm not working in this field.
