5 years agoHi,
The TSE IP is sold as an IP solution package regardless of hard IP or soft IP
- TSE IP offer multiple variance support
- Some is soft MAC IP only, some is soft PHY IP only, some is soft MAC + soft PHY IP
- The only hard IP variance that I am aware of is the "1000BASE-X/SGMII PCS with Embedded PMA". The Embedded PMA is basically the NativePHY IP
What you are interested seems to be TSE IP with "1000BASE-X/SGMII PCS only" variance (page 60, figure 25)
Unfortunately TSE IP is not free and we don't have other similar function IP for you.
- Yes, you are right that NativePHY IP is using high speed transceiver SERDES channel that's not compatible with RJ45 connection.

5 years agoHi!
Thank you for the clarifications, I only have one doubt left, if I may.
If the embedded PMA used in TSE is "basically the NativePHY IP" and can be used with the RJ45 connection, how come when using the NativePHY IP individually it is not compatible with RJ45 connection?
Thank you again!
