TSE mac with SRAM memory

hello

i am working on a board which has MAX10 FPGA and external SRAM

Q1. Please advise whether the TSE MAC can support external SRAM memory or not . I know TSE MAC will work with DDR memory, but i have no option to go with DDR memory.

Q2. Any possibilities i can proceed with SRAM and MAX10 FPGA for ethernet (TSE MAC)?

please guide me ASAP

Regards

    Hi Sathish,

TSE MAC and External SDRAM are two different entities in your design.

The TSE IP is responsible to receive/transmit the Ethernet Package, and the External SDRAM is used to store the data. And yes, if needed, you can store the ethernet package in any type of memory, external SDRAM is one of them, and it really depends on your design requirement.

Yes, if SRAM memory is sufficient to store the data, and it meets your design requirement.
