The PFL IP core can supports single MT28EW CFI flash memory devices?
Hi all,
In Parallel flash Loader intel IP core user guide ,they mentioned as following
"The PFL IP core supports dual MT28EW CFI flash memory devices in burst read mode to achieve faster".
My question is whether MT28EW flash memory can support also in Single numbers?
Or it must contain two numbers ?
can anyone explain it in detail .
Thanks in advance.
Is (MT28EW01GABA1HJS-0SIT) flash working on single mode or not?

Hi, a brief reading of PFL user guide clarifies that it also supports single device 8 and 16 Bit modes. - FakhrulA_altera

Hi BalamuruganV29,
Yes, as mentioned by FvM, ofcourse it would support single QSPI flash device. Please refer to the example on page 52 for your reference: https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/773408?fileName=ug_pfl-683698-773408.pdf
