SOC EDS for Quartus Prime 21.1 standard version

Hello,

For generating sdcard image for customized cyclone 5 board, I'm using the Quartus Prime 21.1 Standard Edition, can you please help with which version of SOC EDS software to be used. Also, if you can share the user guide and design example for the same.

    rocketboards.org is your friend. You can get an example design and customize it for your board/design.

      Hello Tiwari,

      We are following the below document,Quartus Prime 22.1 Standard Edition.

      We are getting below error while building uboot

      /usr/bin/ld: tools/imagetool.o: in function `imagetool_get_type':
      imagetool.c:(.text+0xa): undefined reference to `__stop_image_type'
      /usr/bin/ld: imagetool.c:(.text+0x12): undefined reference to `__start_image_type'
      /usr/bin/ld: tools/imagetool.o: in function `imagetool_verify_print_header':
      imagetool.c:(.text+0x73): undefined reference to `__stop_image_type'
      /usr/bin/ld: imagetool.c:(.text+0x7a): undefined reference to `__start_image_type'
      collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
      make[1]: *** [scripts/Makefile.host:104: tools/dumpimage] Error 1
      make: *** [Makefile:1900: tools] Error 2

      Can you help with the above error

    Hi,


    Are you getting these error in Quartus v22.1std or ARM DS?

    Also, are you using the custom design or referring the GHRD?

    Hi,


    There is no issue at my side in compiling the uboot from the GHRD.

    I hope you have gone through the required prerequisites and setup the proper tool chain before the uboot compiling.
