Remote option not available / grayed out in Quartus 18.1 pro

I am trying to enable the "remote" feature (for remote update) in my design but the "configuration mode" is grayed out. I am targeting Cyclone 10 GX (10CX105YF672E5G) and can't find why it's not allowing me to enable this feature.

I have succesfully use the remote feature using a Cyclone V on a previous project.

I have generated a remote update block, instantiated it in my design, recompiled without any issue but it is not allowing me to have this enabled!

Any idea?

    Hi marcustx,

    The "configuration mode" option is remove for newest Intel FPGA device. (you can't enable it)

    This option would not effect the functionality of the newest device. Newest FPGA will working properly without this option.

    In addition, ONLY for legacy device you need select correct "configuration mode" option.
