Question on factory configure file for MaxII in C3 or S3 dev. kit

Question

I plan to reprogram the MaxII device in development kits for other usage. But I still hope  it can be recovered to the factory configuration in the future. I find a file named M2_prod.pof file in the kit installation folder. No document explain it. Is that the factory configure file which I need?

That's correct. Though there is updated file as version 1337, I think. You might want to double check at Altera web site.

I have searched the Altera web site, but can not find the updated file you mentioned. Could you give more info.?
