Question on factory configure file for MaxII in C3 or S3 dev. kit

I plan to reprogram the MaxII device in development kits for other usage. But I still hope it can be recovered to the factory configuration in the future. I find a file named M2_prod.pof file in the...

That's correct.

Though there is updated file as version 1337, I think.

You might want to double check at Altera web site.
