Pin Mapping for RGMII Ethernet Signals for Cyclone V FPGA

Hi,

I would like to use RGMII interface for Cyclone V FPGA. 5CGTFD5C5F23C7N.

There are no dedicated io pins for Ethernet. Is it ok to use any gpios for TX_CLK, RX_CLK and other Ethernet signals. If not pls let me know which IO bank will be suitable to use.

    Hi,

    I would recommend to use the XCVR lines of the Cyclone V device. I don't think the normal GPIO lines can handle the 1Gbps rate.
