Nios II Embedded Evaluation Kit Cyclone III Edition-el camino sd card error

When I turn on the development board I get the following

ERROR: Failed to mount /dev/el_camino_sd_card_controller

I tried presseing the cpu reset and reconfigure buttons but the problem did not go away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I believe this is telling you that there is no SD Card installed in the slot. The fact that you got the message seems to indicate that the driver is installed and running, and that a proper call was made to it.

    Try inserting an SD Card and see what happens...
