NEEK Application Selector Demos not working

When I use the Application Selector Demo program I can see the selection screen and can get info on each selection. When I go to load my selection the screen goes black and then sometimes all white. I have tried many of the NEEK versions, 7.2, 9.1, 12.1 with mostly the same results. I have had the most success with the oldest version, 7.2. With that version I can get the first three Altera demos to work, but none of the others. The screen just goes all black.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
