first of all, I'm new to programming with Quartus. I want to sample a signal with one of the ADCs on the Max 10 Development kit. After that, I want to convert the descrete signal again to an anolog one with the DAC and put it on an oscilloscope. I managed to configure the ADCs but I failed to configure the DAC. Can anyone help?
Honored ContributorFor Max 10 FPGA Dev. kit, I've ever been such similar DAC issue, apparently Altera does not advise DAC examples, sorry for my less further searching, the only thing I can be of help is this DAC8551 datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dac8551.pdf), which from my colleague, he got this from Terasic, just for one MAX 10 NEEK bought there before, by chance DAC8551 is used as well.
Actually, there goes with some dac_sma examples with MAX 10 NEEK CD-ROM (http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?language=english&categoryno=218&no=956&partno=4), even example illustrations on the manual, maybe you'd find something interesting.
