Information about the Power Monitor Cyclone V SoC Dev Kit

Does anyone have any information about the Power Monitor program included in the Cyclone V SX SoC Dev kit? I can see that it's possible to generate a log file. I'm guessing the logged numbers are the currents in mA? What's the time interval between each entry (sampling rate)?
