I'm using DE0 nano development kit. Is that make any sense that the kit current consumption is about 0.5A?? without any code on it!

the kit is working fine, I can load VHDL code, the LED's working well etc. is there some low power mode that I should know about him? or my kit is bad??

Hello Welcome to INTEL forum. From my understanding your dev kit current consumption 0.5A without any code and working find. May I know is there any warning or error message during VHDL code loading? could you elaborate further on how you found out the kit current consumption is 0.5A?
