hps_isw_handoff is not generated

i am using HPS IP in my design ,and as i understood, after compiling the design that folder - hps_isw_handoff - should be generated automatically, but it doesn't. what am i missing? any spacial s...

What device are you targeting? Have you generated the system design in Platform Designer and fully compiled the design in Quartus?
