New here! Just got a DE0-Nano. Real frustration from the get go! Cannot even get the DE0-Nano control panel to work. I installed the Altera FPGA (free) development tool Quartu2 II Prime 18. ...

Could be right. I did not compile the control panel. I downloaded it directly from here

My Quartus Prile 18.0 (Lite) resides here:-

C:\intelFPGA_lite\18.0\quartus\bin64\quartus.exe

Are you saying it should be in bin64 or further back up the chain.

DE0_Nano is at

......\Documents\DE0-Nano but there are a number of directories there.
