Ethernet Failure after Deployment

Inconsistent Ethernet Functionality on Ethernet MPN: 88E1111-B2-NDC2I000 with Cyclone V device 5CSEMA5U23I7N.

We are experiencing significant inconsistency in Ethernet working, leading to unreliable data communication.

We have verified Voltages and cable assembly .

Given the critical nature of stable Ethernet connectivity, we urgently request your expertise and support to diagnose the root cause of this inconsistency and provide a lasting solution. Could you please outline the diagnostic steps you recommend or provide a plan for further investigation?.

    Hi,

    "Inconsistent Ethernet Functionality" is a rather loose description. I'd start with state-of-the-art diagnosis tools like Wireshark to determine what's exactly failing.

    I'd expect a software problem in the first place. Respectively used Ethernet IP and software stack should be considered. As far as I'm aware of, there are also diagnosis options inside Ethernet stack, starting with simple things like error counters etc.
