http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-cyclone-v-gx.html indicates that the kit installation was for 12.0.2.1. I'd recommend trying to rebuild the designs using version 12.0sp2 before attempting to use a newer tool version. The BTS GUIs are annoying in that they often only work with the DLLs from Quartus with this specific release. Cheers, Dave
