Honored ContributorI have interfaced manually the flash memory so, I am sorry, i don't know why you have always 0 (alt_flash_open_dev is an api for NIOS that's right?). Only one suggestion if you haven't already done. Try to write in flash... after check that with control panel, it is very easy to use.
