CycloneIV transeiver starter kit related

Hi,

I have Altera CycloneIV GX transceiver starter kit. I was trying to run the board test system which has come along with the kit in the CD. when testing ethernet, to run the simple socket server design(as in the GUI), after downloading the ELF, I am not seeing the IP address displayed on the LCD panel on board. I have connected the ethernet port to the DHCP network router.

can anybody suggest?

also to test the PCIe design, are there any softwares available, which can be run on the PC to communicate to PCIe? as I dont see any software provided in the CD except for the BTS_GUI.
