Cannot run BoardTestSystem.exe

Recently bought a TR5 development board with a Stratix V GX FPGA on it. Then I download the FPGA development kit and try to run the BoardTestSystem.exe file but with no reaction. I has set the SW5.3 to on as stated in the user manual.

    Hello,

You need to run same BTS version with Quartus version.

For example, if BTS is released on 21.3, you need to run on Quartus 21.3.

Other Quartus version might not working properly.

    regards,

    Farabi

What version of Quartus do you have installed? What exactly have you downloaded and installed and from where? A link to the board product page would help as well.

As far we I know, TR5 hasn't BoardTestSystem.exe tool, where did you get this .exe? Maybe it's not for TR5.

BoardTestSystem.exe is specific for Intel's own FPGA boards. All Terasic FPGA boards haven't BoardTestSystem.exe, what they have is Controlpanel.exe or DashboardGUI.exe, Terasic hasn't controlpanel or dashboardgui.exe for TR5.
