You're using web edition 11.1SP2 right - the other thread indicated that the USB-Blaster did not work with that version. Did you try 11.1SP1? --- Quote Start --- I am unsure why I needed a trial license to actually, they said, use the ram if I don't. Like I said I know very little about FPGA's I wish I had gotten one without NIOSII as the project I wanted to use is actually compiled for a simpler setup. Had no idea that this would make it not work. --- Quote End --- You don't have to use NIOS II. Its an FPGA, you program what you want in there. The trial license may be for the low-power DDR IP. Just ignore it, unless you need to use the DDR of course. Cheers, Dave
