arria10 hps watchdog

Hi there,

I'm working on arria10 Soc HPS programming and I'm trying to disable watchdog. Based on the HPS programmer guide, the register wdt_cr of i_watchdog_1_l4wd need to be written with 0x0. But after I configured it with 0x0 and read back the value of register, the value is still 0x1. There mentioned that WDT_ALWAYS_EN needs to be 0 to make wdt_cr writable, but I have not found the right place to set the configuration of WDT_ALWAYS_EN. Could you please let me know which part defining the WDT_ALWAYS_EN? Thanks a lot.

    Hi,


    Try disabling watchdog timer from the device tree.
