I am using a Arria 10 GX development kit that will reset after reaching a chip temperature between 40C and 43C reverting back to the state it was in on power on and before I programmed it. Even when running the board test system with the fan running on fast the board will reset.

I returned mine to Altera after submitting a service request. The cause may have been overheating as some of the Arria 10 dev kits were shipped without thermal paste.
