An elf file wasn't reflected into sof file.
Hi, support team.
I have a question about Cyclone10 LP and Nios II.
An elf file was not integrated into sof file.
I tried following procedure, but didn't work.
1. Build project
2. Make targets -> mem_init_gnerate
3. Update Memory Initialization File
4. Start Assembler
Checking time stamp of the sof file, it was updated.
However, the software wasn't updated.
I also tried full compilation, but I didn't get result I expected.
If I executed application by run on Eclipse, update was confirmed.
Would you please tell me items or settings I need to check?
Best regards.
Hi
I believe you have generated a hex file from the step below:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683689/current/application-12184.html
After generating the hex did you select the hex as the initialization file for the on chip memory?

Hi, you are apparently trying to run NIOS from initialized FPGA RAM (internal ROM). Can you tell which instructions (manual, tutorial) you are following?

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I am following this one.
Embedded Design Handbook.
I am trying booting from On Chip RAM.
If you need, I will send you the project files.
Best regards.
