1Gb/s Ethernet board

Hello,

I m new to the ethernet communication.

I am trying to buy a development kit with ethernet port.

I could find some boards with this capability but the MAC controller code is not provided. Does Altera have boards which comes with software for MAC like the Xilinx does using System Generator?

    Altera does have the Triple Speed Ethernet (TSE) MAC for use with GigE. just choose a board with 10/100/1000 support (the full Cyclone III kit for example).
