MAX10 (10M40DAF672C8G) not detectable by USB Blaster 1 but Successful with Terasic Blaster

Encountering a strange behavior where FPGA 10M40DAF672C8G is not detectable for Altera USB Blaster 1 but is success to detect/flash/proram using Terasic Blaster and Altera USB Blaster 2.


the difference of terasic and USB Blaster 1 is JTAG frequency, Blaster 1 runs at 6MHz, while Terasic Blaster is able to run at 24MHz.

is there configuration or limitation with FPGA MAX10 device to limit the use of USB Blaster.

Please find the schematic attached, and advice if any possible hints

    Hi,


    Have you try with another USB Blaster I? Is it working and detect the Max 10?


    Also, please make sure to install the USB Blaster driver correctly. Or try to uninstall and re-install the driver.
