Why does the simulation for Arria®10 EMIF IP in Mentor simulators hang when using the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 22.1?

Description

Arria® 10 EMIF IP Simulation hangs in the Mentor simulator when calibration mode in EMIF IP GUI is set to “Skip”. To work around the problem in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 22.1, set calibration mode in Arria 10 EMIF IP GUI to Abstract PHY calibration mode.

Resolution

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition version 24.1 Software.
