Why does the Intel® Stratix® 10 devices Temperature Sensor IP or Voltage Sensor IP hang in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software versions 21.1 and 21.2?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and 21.2, you may encounter that the Intel® Stratix® 10 devices are not functioning as expected when reading the temperature or voltage using the Temperature Sensor IP or Voltage Sensor IP. The rsp_valid and rsp_data might not be responding.

Resolution

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3.

To resolve this problem, download and install the latest device manager firmware for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software 21.3/21.4/22.1/22.2/22.3.
