Why does partial reconfiguration fail on Intel Agilex® 7 devices with Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3 and earlier?

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3 and earlier, you may see intermittent partial reconfiguration failure on Intel Agilex® 7 devices.

 

 

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3. Download and install patch 0.17fw from the following links:
