Why does my Agilex™ 5 GTS transceiver's rx_signal_detect signal port not respond to my SATA out-of-band (OOB) signaling?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.3, when the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP is configured to SATA/SAS mode and if you enable the rx_signal_detect port, you will not see this signal responding to the SATA compliant OOB signal received at the RX PMA. This is due to a software problem.

Resolution

There is currently no workaround to this problem.

This limitation will be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
